Job Description

The Department of the Auditor General (DAG) is seeking a highly organized and detailed-oriented individual to join the department's Bureau of Information Technology Audits (BITA) as an Information Technology Audit Senior Manager. This position is eligible for student loan forgiveness and provides excellent health, savings, and retirement benefits. This role guides teams that complete information technology audit work for the Department of the Auditor General. It ensures that major information technology (IT) reviews and assessments are carried out with care and accuracy. As an Information Technology Audit Senior Manager, you will perform the following duties:
Team Management:
Lead groups that carry out IT controls reviews, performance audits, and data reliability assessments
Financial Report Support:
Direct IT audit tasks linked to the Commonwealth's annual financial report
Single Audit Duties:
Guide IT work that supports the yearly Single Audit of the
Commonwealth Engagement Coordination:
Oversee attestation and performance audit assignments requested by leadership
Quality Review:
Check that IT audit work meets required standards and agency expectations
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Bachelor's or Graduate's degree in Information Technology or Accounting/Auditing from an accredited college or university; and possession and maintenance of a certificate as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising and preforming IT Audit functions in accordance with audit standards.
Additional Requirements:
You must be a Pennsylvania resident at the time of hire. You must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license by the time of hire. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): Experience performing information technology general and application controls audit testing and/or performance audits Experience using electronic working paper software, audit management software, or other audit related software Experience reviewing System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports Experience related to applying data analytics to audits Member of information technology audit and/or data analytics related organizations such as
