Job Description
IT Delivery Manager (Remote restricted to OR, WA, ID, UT or ND only) Our client, a leading health care company dedicated to revolutionizing the industry, is seeking an experienced Release Manager / Delivery Lead to provide end-to-end coordination and delivery leadership across multiple clinical and technology initiatives. This role will work across Product Owners, business teams, technology (DTS), configuration, UAT/quality, project resources, vendors, and operational stakeholders to ensure work moves from planning through implementation in a coordinated, predictable manner. The Release Manager will own the integrated view of delivery - what is being delivered, when it is releasing, key dependencies, readiness, risks, and stakeholder impacts. Key Responsibilities for
IT Delivery Manager:
Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple projects, product teams, and workstreams. Develop and maintain an integrated 90-day release and delivery calendar. Track major milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and delivery commitments. Coordinate activities across Product Owners, Business Analysts, DTS/technology teams, configuration teams, UAT/quality, vendors, and operational partners. Facilitate release readiness and Go/No-Go discussions, ensuring business and technical requirements are ready for implementation. Coordinate UAT timing, defect resolution, approvals, and other release dependencies. Identify delivery risks and impediments early and drive appropriate escalation and resolution. Provide concise status reporting on delivery health, upcoming releases, risks, and decisions requiring leadership attention. Ensure downstream stakeholders understand upcoming changes, timing, impacts, and required actions. Support consistent use of Jira for delivery visibility, milestone tracking, dependencies, and release health. Facilitate cross-team delivery discussions and ensure commitments and follow-up actions are clearly documented. Support post-release reviews and identify recurring delivery issues and opportunities for continuous improvement. Qualifications and Experience forIT Delivery Manager:
5+ years of experience in delivery management, release management, technical project management, or Agile delivery. Demonstrated experience coordinating complex, cross-functional technology implementations. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery practices and release management. Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery-management tools. Strong dependency, risk, milestone, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work across business, operations, product, and technology organizations without direct authority. Strong facilitation and executive-level communication skills. Healthcare payer, clinical systems, utilization management, payment integrity, or other regulated healthcare experience preferred.About Motus Recruiting and Staffing, Inc:
