Job Description

Purpose:
This role oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure used in the GA Plant, including servers, networks, storage, and specialized manufacturing applications.

Key Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

Develop and implement strategic plans for Plant IT infrastructure and systemsEstablish IT infrastructure standards, policies and operational proceduresManage network, server, endpoint, and other IT infrastructure environmentsEnsure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT infrastructureOversee infrastructure monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle managementSupport the integration and operation of Plant IT and OT environmentsManage IT vendors, licensing, maintenance agreements, and service performanceLead Plant IT Infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementationsMaintain IT security, backup, and business continuity practicesMonitor IT systems and proactively improve reliability and operational efficiencySupervise and support IT infrastructure staff to ensure effective day-to-day operationsWork closely with Plant departments and management to identify IT needs and drive improvements
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in IT management (Plant supporting experience preferred)Proven experience in network, server, cybersecurity, and system administrationStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including Windows Server, Linux, firewalls, switches, and wireless networksExperience with infrastructure monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and system availabilityStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skillsProficiency in IT project management and infrastructure planningStrong leadership and team management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Server and system administration: Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCPNetwork infrastructure: Cisco switches, firewalls, wireless, VLANs, and TCP/IPEndpoint management, software deployment, and patch management.

IT security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuityInfrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance management.

IT infrastructure lifecycle and asset management.

Vendor, licensing, and technical service management.

Legal Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Supervisory Responsibility:
The GA IT Manager will provide da-to-day leadership, coordinate activities, and manage employee performance for the GA IT Team.
Working Conditions:
Constant office setting with rare exposure to hazards.

Constant use of computer and office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Constant sitting and occasional walkingRare lifting, carrying. Or pushing/pulling up to 10lbs.

Constant keyboarding
Remote Work:
This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.
