Job Description
Description Our client is seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Architecture to provide strategic vision, leadership, and direction across HR technology, Finance technology, and the broader employee platform ecosystem. This role will define how employees interact with technology across the organization by driving modernization initiatives, cloud transformation, platform integration, and the practical application of AI to enhance business processes and employee productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a holistic understanding of employee-facing platforms, how they integrate across the enterprise, and how to establish scalable, secure, and business-aligned architectural standards. - Own and evolve the architecture vision and multi-year roadmap for HR, Finance, and employee technology platforms.
- Define target-state architecture across the employee technology ecosystem, including: o Workday o ServiceNow o Microsoft 365 o AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Drive seamless platform integration, scalability, security, and employee experience improvements.
- Champion the use of AI across the employee ecosystem by: o Identifying high-value business use cases o Defining architectural guardrails o Influencing AI-enabled solutions and adoption
- Establish and govern enterprise architecture standards, policies, and integration strategies across platforms.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing architecture organization.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align technology capabilities with strategic business goals.
- Participate in annual budgeting, financial planning, investment prioritization, and cost-benefit analyses.
- Stay current on emerging technology trends, particularly AI, cloud computing, and employee experience platforms.
- Foster strong collaboration across technology and business teams to ensure architectural alignment. Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience.
- Experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Knowledge of:
o Architecture governance frameworks o API and integration strategy o Enterprise data architecture- Demonstrated success as an innovator and change agent.
- Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience improving the end-to-end employee experience through integrated HR, productivity, and service delivery platforms.
