POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Manager of IT Systems & Applications is to provide direction, day-to-day coordination and HR responsibility to the members of the application team. The Manager will have overarching responsibility for their respective applications' support, design, instruction and ongoing optimization. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to: direct management of analysts, identifying and mitigating project risks, supporting the applications' users and assisting in the implementation of all application projects. The manager will oversee a team of analysts supporting outpatient specialty applications, including (but not limited to) the following systems: Epic ClinDoc, Epic Stork, Epic Rehab (IP), & integrated solutions such as IV Pumps, Virtual Care, Transfer Center, Staffing Modules, Clinical Decision Support tools. Responsibilities Works with TCS (Technology & Consumer Services) leadership team to collect, analyze and document technical, clinical or business operations artifacts and translate problems into solution-oriented initiatives.

Responsible for developing and monitoring the development roadmap for the applications in assigned area.

Responsible for employment related decision making in conjunction with department Director.

Responsible for team member performance evaluations, merit and promotion decisions

Provides mentorship to team in areas of application support and leadership development.

Develops and fosters relationships with business stakeholders.

Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.

Responsible for defining work assignment and workload management for team(s).

Escalation point for issue resolution related to area of influence

Assists with departmental budget planning and resourcing. Qualifications Required Qualifications BA/BS degree (or equivalent)

7+ years experience, either in operational or IT applications support for applicable business area.

5+ years in IT implementing and supporting applications.

Knowledge of clinic-based provider, nurse, clinician workflows and best practices.

Basic project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan)

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Applicable Epic certifications (EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation, Stork, Rehab and Specialty Content badges)

Experience working in a healthcare environment

Experience in data analysis and report generation.
