Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Information Technology Manager - Active Q Clearance opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN .

Active DOE Q Clearance Required Position Summary:

The IT Manager will oversee the information technology operations at a secure manufacturing facility. This role ensures the reliability, security, and compliance of all systems supporting production, engineering, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership with deep familiarity in classified or controlled environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of highly skilled IT professionals across various activities including but not limited to network administration, software design and implementation, product development, user support, and quality assurance. Lead daily IT operations, including network infrastructure, servers, storage, end‑user systems, and industrial IT assets. Ensure high availability of systems supporting manufacturing, quality, and engineering workflows. Oversee patching, system updates, and lifecycle management for all hardware and software. Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement of IT equipment within security constraints.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Experience supporting IT in a classified, regulated, or high‑security environment.

Strong knowledge of:

o Network administration (LAN/WAN, firewalls, segmentation) o Windows and Linux server environments o Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, RMF, CIS) o Industrial or manufacturing IT systems
