Job Specialty:
System Architecture What You'll Do You will serve as the primary leader for Information Technology (IT) infrastructure delivery, responsible for transitioning legacy systems into a modern, resilient enterprise. This role involves establishing an IT Lifecycle Management Program, developing a long-term Technical Infrastructure Roadmap, and overseeing a team of Technical Project Managers. You will drive the roadmap and strategic vision and portfolio oversight necessary to ensure all IT infrastructure is supportable, scalable and reliable.
Additional Responsibilities include leading:
Infrastructure Lifecycle Management:
Design and implement a program to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including operating systems, desktops, laptops, servers, storage, and networking hardware.
Strategic Roadmap & Vision:
Develop and maintain a 5 year technical roadmap for infrastructure supportability and modernization, translating executive vision into actionable delivery plans
Portfolio Management:
Oversee the integrated IT infrastructure project portfolio. Prioritize initiatives based on mission criticality, budget, and resource availability. Lead complex IT delivery through the full life-cycle to include scope, strategy, planning, execution, monitoring, and project closure to successfully deliver assigned projects within agreed upon constraints (e.g., scope, schedule, labor cost, and quality) Develop and execute within full scale project execution plans to include deliverables, goals, milestones, resource loading, and cost; manages the project budget, and project resources Direct and utilize project team resources to successfully deliver assigned projects within agreed upon constraints (e.g., scope, schedule, labor cost, and quality). Participate with project teams, peers, and management to resolve resource conflicts, priorities, and project issues.
Team Leadership:
Manage a dedicated team of Technical Project Managers, providing direction on resource allocation and performance to ensure successful delivery of the IT Infrastructure portfolio.
Technical Coordination:
Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and operational stakeholders to eliminate roadblocks and ensure safe, secure delivery of technical solutions. Minimum Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience OR Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 15 years of completed education and/or relevant experience. Preferred Job Requirements Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification OR Scaled Agile Leading SAFe or SAFe Program Consultant Certification required Proven experience in Microsoft Project and/or ServiceNow or equivalent tool required. Proven knowledge and understanding of project management best practices and processes such as those of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Proven knowledge and understanding of project lifecycle management and software development life cycle Proven understanding of risk management, risk mitigation and contingency planning. Proven experience and knowledge of business analysis and project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools is preferred. Proven knowledge and appreciation of business concepts and requirements as applicable to a large company/facility. Proven knowledge and/or experience in eliciting requirements of complex projects and/or programs through business analysis techniques. Highly-motivated individual with a natural instinct to lead. Proven experience in effectively handling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Proven experience in the use of tools such as computerized spreadsheet, data analytics, word processing software, and agile methods required. Strong presentation skills, interpersonal communication skills, time management skills, organizational skills, and oral and written skills. Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to work independently and to work effectively as part of a group with diverse backgrounds and skills. Proven experience in managing an IT Project Management Office or equivalent. Scrum Master Certification preferred Agile Project Management Certification preferred Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations Certification preferred ServiceNow experience with Agile Development and Project modules preferred.
