Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT leader to guide technology strategy for a healthcare organization in Corpus Christi, Texas. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can align infrastructure, security, and clinical technology with operational goals while leading a high-performing team. The role calls for a hands-on strategic thinker who can partner with executives, support clinicians, and deliver reliable systems in a fast-paced care environment.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and execute a technology strategy that supports business objectives, operational efficiency, and high-quality patient care.
- Direct the planning and delivery of infrastructure, hardware, software, and platform improvements across the organization.
- Manage and develop the IT team, setting priorities, mentoring staff, and fostering strong execution across daily support and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, backup processes, disaster recovery readiness, and regulatory compliance within a healthcare setting.
- Evaluate current systems and recommend practical technology investments, including build-versus-buy decisions that improve performance and reduce unnecessary expense.
- Partner with executive, operational, and clinical stakeholders to translate technical priorities into business-focused solutions.
- Lead complex cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and implementation goals are met.
- Support and optimize healthcare imaging and workflow technologies, including PACS and related radiology systems where applicable.
- Establish standards for system configuration, maintenance, and reliability across networks, servers, and user-facing technology.
- Promote continuous improvement by assessing emerging tools and encouraging ongoing skill development within the IT function.
