COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client is a family-owned fruit growing and packing company based in Washington State. Founded in 1984, the company specializes in producing and distributing fresh apples, pears, cherries, peaches, nectarines, and apricots for retail and wholesale markets. Our client is known for its multi-generational farming experience, commitment to quality, and sustainable agricultural practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute the company's multi-year IT strategy, roadmap, and technology vision in close partnership with the CFO and executive team. Build, mentor, and manage a cohesive IT team; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and exceptional service. Provide executive oversight of all network, server, endpoint, communications, and data systems to ensure 99.9%+ uptime and optimal performance across the large facility and distributed sites. Champion enterprise security, compliance, and risk management programs (including incident response, audits, and regulatory requirements). Own the IT budget (capital and operating expenses); forecast needs, control costs, and deliver strong ROI on technology investments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred). 8-12+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 4-6 years in a leadership or managerial role within small-to-mid-size companies (100-800 employees). Proven success leading IT in distributed, network-intensive, multi-site, or remote-work environments with significant data and facility footprints. Deep technical knowledge across networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud/hybrid architectures, and business intelligence.
Required:
CISSP or equivalent certification
Preferred:
CISM, ITIL 4
Foundation or Managing Professional, PMP, or equivalent executive-level technology leadership certifications.
