I'm conducting a confidential search for a Technical Director to lead the R D and technical operations for a manufacturer in the industrial coatings sector . What You'll Be Doing:

Leading a multi-site technical team (locations include the Southeast and Upper Midwest). Overseeing R D, color development, QA, technical service/MOB , and plant-level support. Setting strategy, building talent pipelines, and driving process improvements. Acting as the technical bridge between customers, operations, and the marketplace. Bringing a forward-thinking mindset to formulation development and performance testing.

Ideal Background & Skills:

10+ years in technical leadership roles in industrial coatings or related chemical industries . Deep experience in formulation chemistry , pigment dispersion, resin systems, and testing.
