Job Description Airbus Americas, Inc is looking for a Head of Digital and Analytics Factory - US to join our team based in Mobile, AL. The Head of Digital & Analytics Factory is responsible for leading digital transformation initiatives and overseeing the local Digital and Analytics Factory at the Mobile Manufacturing Site (MMS). This role acts as the single point of entry for all digital requests, ensuring that the digital portfolio is integrated and aligned with the Mobile Manufacturing Site strategy. On 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your Challenges:
Factory Leadership & Governance (30%) Lead the MMS Digital & Analytics Factory Plateau, serving as the Plateau Lead and primary point of contact for digital requests from all functional areas. Develop and implement the Mobile Manufacturing Site's digital strategy in alignment with organizational objectives and the central data management strategy. Coordinate with OED and OSM, IM counterparts in North America, Canada and Europe to ensure alignment and deployment of solutions. Establish and manage the Factory's governance, including the synchronization of initiatives with other ongoing digital transformation programs. Digital & Analytics Execution (40%) Execute the MMS Roadmap with a primary focus on A320 ramp-up targets and operational priorities. Deliver agile solutions across four key pillars:
Foundational Data Products:
Master data and curated business data sets for Shopfloor and Quality.
Analytical & Descriptive Products:
Performance monitoring dashboards and cockpits.
Advanced & Prescriptive Products:
Predictive AI models and optimization tools for planning.
Technical Products:
Data APIs and reusable data pipelines. Manage the overall digital implementation plan to ensure technology solutions are delivered on time, within cost, and deliver high ROI. Innovation & Automation (10%) Foster innovation through new technologies such as AI and robotics to unlock value for manufacturing areas. Integrate MMS into the Airbus Robotics roadmap to support A320 and A220 production. Facilitate workshops across organizations to identify needs, ideas, opportunities related to Digital Transformation. Drives problem solving with the needs of functions in consideration all times, ensuring solutions deliver value for them and enhance operational efficiency. Continuous benchmarking and tracking of further automation/ digital opportunities within and outside the organization. Team Management & Collaboration (20%) Lead a cross-functional team, including roles such as the Digital Portfolio Execution Manager and Data Excellence Manager. Facilitate workshops across the organization to identify needs and opportunities related to digital transformation. Work in direct proximity with end-users to ensure solutions are tailored to operational needs. Other duties as assigned 10%
Your Boarding Pass:
Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or operations or other similar discipline. 15 years of experience in cost management, project coordination/management, and KPI development and tracking is required. Experience working in a manufacturing and/or supply chain / procurement / finance environment is preferred. Must have the ability to lead project(s) across divisions or organizations. Must have the knowledge of risk and opportunity management and general finance. Must have demonstrated project management in an industrial environment, with cross-functional, international exposure. Must have the ability to perform financial analysis. The ability to conduct TCQ accountabilities in the area of operations is desired. Proven experience in lean/continuous improvement projects demonstrating tangible & sustainable results. Experienced in project management, including multifunctional teams and financial aspects. Able to demonstrate operational experience in the implementation and optimization of industrial systems (conception phase, implementation, management of production processes). You have strong analytical skills, planning, problem solving, and good interpersonal skills. You show an open mind and a great ability to work as a team player. In addition, you must have a sense of organization, time management and you demonstrate autonomy. You are a good communicator and are able to listen, coach and guide employees. You are patient, positive and have perseverance along with good organization skills. You are an energetic person with initiative and good planning skills, strong sense of responsibility, strong negotiation skills and good judgment. Good understanding financial process. Good communication skills, active listening and a proactive approach to problem solving & decision making. Proven coaching / training competencies, Leadership, Assertiveness to influence and challenge the status quo.
Licensure/Certifications:
Project management certification is an asset.
Technical Systems Proficiency:
SAP MS Project Skywise.
Travel Required:
10% Domestic and International.

able to push/pull items in office areas.

able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.
Squatting/Kneeling:
able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.

able to stand for extended periods of time.
Travel:
able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time. Working outside hangers in changing locations.
Walking:
able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor and/or outdoor surfaces.
