Job Description

Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description You will lead complex FSD application and site-level migrations during the integration of purification and filtration businesses into the Thermo Fisher Scientific IT ecosystem, ensuring seamless transitions and business continuity.
What you will do:
Lead and manage the application migration kanban, coordinating complex FSD integrations across multiple workstreams Apply Agile methodologies and frameworks to drive project execution, scope management, schedules, budgets, and resources Leverage deep IT landscape knowledge to design and implement scalable migration strategies and support models Foster continuous improvement and innovation by applying PPI principles throughout migration activities Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver strategic technology solutions Build and maintain strong relationships across organizational levels to ensure successful project delivery Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout all project phases Develop repeatable models that drive business continuity, process efficiency, and sustainable application support
REQUIREMENTS
Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of IT project management experience, including large-scale enterprise implementations
Preferred Fields of Study:
Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or preferred Agile/Scrum certifications (SAFe, CSM, etc.) preferred Strong expertise in project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall Experience with project/portfolio management tools (MS Project, Planview, Jira, etc.) Demonstrated success managing complex technical projects in regulated environments (GxP, SOX, HIPAA, etc.) Excellent financial acumen and budget management capabilities Demonstrated ability to guide and collaborate across multiple teams and organizational levels Experience managing distributed teams and external vendors Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Proficiency with MS Office suite and project management software Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies Experience with enterprise systems like
ERP, CRM, LIMS
preferred Travel may be required up to 20% Life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred Demonstrated success in project delivery within scope, timeline and budget constraints Excellent risk management and issue resolution skills Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $113,500.00-$150,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
