In addition to being organized and analytical, you must possess sound judgment and exceptional communication skills to lead a team and provide support structures for a variety of people. You must have the desire and the ability to help your team develop and proactively look for ways to create and maintain cohesion. The role is designed so managers can still stay hands-on and continue leading their teams. Description Create and align team goals, foster career growth, foster innovation while keeping continuity between teams across PA&T. Regularly assess team member performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching and guidance. Regularly assess and evaluate admin processes and procedures with the goal of streamlining and optimizing to ensure efficiency across all teams Partner with business operations teams to create, implement, and maintain strategies that help support the engineering teams. Help manage employee engagement events for the teams Help manage building and facilities support across multiple lockdown (snack supplies, office supplies, building maintenance, organize small engineering moves, etc). Calendar management, management of conference room calendars. Team support; on boarding, off boarding, ordering, POs, inventory tracking Preferred Qualifications AA or BS degree preferred 3-6 years experience (engineering teams preferred) in a high tech environment Proficient in
Mac OS:
Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Calendar Positive, proactive, and approachable personality. Ability to work independently and handle frequently changing needs. Proven problem solving abilities and the ability to anticipate change and act efficiently. A high level of discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with people at all levels is imperative. Must operate with the highest levels of integrity and build a trustworthy environment among the team. Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidates should have 3+ years of experience managing a team or leadership 3-6 years of experience in an administrative role, managing calendars Proven ability to influence others; handle conflict appropriately, know when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense Creativity and experience in building team culture and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage, and be effective with ambiguity. Poised under pressure with the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $49.67 and $74.56/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
