This leader will play a critical role in shaping the Finance technology roadmap, guiding transformation initiatives, and ensuring best-in-class process and systems integration across multiple business units. This role is ideal for an experienced applications leader who has operated at scale within manufacturing and distribution environments and has a strong track record of implementing ERP Finance solutions across Fortune 500 organizations. Job Function Lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of Finance platforms, including ERP solutions, workflow tools, and supporting SaaS applications. Oversee multi-ERP Finance implementations, specifically for GL, AP, AR, and Cash Application processes, in large enterprise environments. Drive Finance technology transformation initiatives by developing strong business cases, ROI models, and executive-level recommendations. Partner with Finance leaders (Controllers, FP&A, Shared Services, Treasury, etc.) to define system requirements and enable process optimization. ERP Implementation & Operational Excellence Lead end-to-end implementation of Finance ERP solutions within manufacturing and distribution industries, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals. Manage cross-functional teams to execute large-scale deployment plans, cutovers, testing strategies, data conversion, and hyper-care support. Ensure robust integration across systems using modern integration frameworks, APIs, and middleware solutions. Process & Transformation Expertise Translate Finance process requirements into scalable technology solutions and streamline end-to-end processes across acquired business units. Drive standardization and harmonization of Finance workflows across a federated enterprise with a history of acquisitions. Collaborate closely with Finance process owners to define future-state operating models. Data & MDM Governance Provide oversight for financial data governance, master data management (MDM), and data quality initiatives. Partner with enterprise data teams to ensure strong alignment between Finance applications and enterprise data architecture. AI, Automation & SaaS Innovation Evaluate and implement AI-enabled features within commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision making. Manage and integrate SaaS-based Finance tools, ensuring they align with enterprise roadmap and security standards. Identify opportunities for RPA, workflow automation, analytics enhancements, and predictive insights. Team & Stakeholder Management Lead and mentor a high-performing team of application analysts, functional specialists, and technical SMEs. Foster strong partnerships with Finance stakeholders, business leaders, IT architects, and integration teams. Manage vendor relationships, SOWs, budgets, and service delivery KPIs.

Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills Assist personnel in other IT departments to resolve technical and/or application issues Other duties as requested Required Skills 15+ years of direct IT applications experience with a strong focus on Finance and back-office systems. Demonstrated experience implementing Finance ERP solutions (GL, AP, AR, Cash App) within manufacturing and distribution industries. Implementation experience across multiple ERPs in Fortune 500 environments. Deep understanding of Finance processes and hands-on experience supporting Finance transformation initiatives. Strong experience in building business cases for enterprise Finance technology modernization. Proven leadership in complex, federated organizations with multiple acquired business units. Solid understanding of Data management, MDM disciplines, and financial data structures. Experience with SaaS-based Finance tools, modern integration frameworks, and AI capabilities within enterprise COTS applications. Demonstrated team leadership, coaching, performance management, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels. Preferred Qualifications Experience with global Finance operations or multi-region shared services. Knowledge of integration middleware (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO, Oracle Integration Cloud). Background in process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM). Experience working with M&A integration efforts. Exposure to cloud-first ERP platforms (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, MS Dynamics 365, Infor, etc.).
