A leader in the financial services industry is hiring a Technical Project Manager in Irvine, CA for a contract-to-hire position, hybrid Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday onsite.

Technical Project Manager Requirements:
5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in data, analytics, or technology infrastructure projects. Proven experience managing data warehouse migrations and BI/reporting platform transitions. Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting best practices. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Excellent communication skills, with ability to present to senior leadership.
Technical Project Manager Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for data migration and reporting projects, including scoping, planning, and validation. Develop detailed project plans, risk registers, and status dashboards for stakeholders. Oversee migration of data from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift). Coordinate the migration of reporting assets to new BI tools. Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
