POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives that support enterprise strategic objectives. This role partners closely with business and IT leadership to ensure alignment between organizational priorities and project outcomes. This individual will manage multiple concurrent projects, including enterprise-wide programs such as data platform initiatives, infrastructure modernization, application implementations, and regulatory or compliance-driven efforts. The IT Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in alignment with governance standards, while driving transparency, accountability, and measurable business value. This position reports to the VP ofIT. RESPONSIBILITIES - DUTIES
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT and enterprise initiatives across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and priorities Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, and financials Define clear deliverables, success metrics, and business outcomes in partnership with stakeholders Drive project execution using appropriate methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) based on initiative needs Serve as the primary liaison between IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership Provide consistent communication on project status, risks, issues, and milestones, including executive-level reporting and governance forums Ensure adherence to IT governance standards, PMO processes, and portfolio prioritization frameworks Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and constraints; develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues as needed Coordinate resources and manage budgets to ensure efficient utilization and cost-effective delivery Ensure quality delivery of solutions, including testing, change management, operational transition, and continuous improvement of project practicesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS B.S.
in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field experience 5+ years of experience in IT project management, enterprise technology initiatives, or related IT roles 2+ years of leadership or project delivery experience preferred Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) Experience managing enterprise IT projects across applications, infrastructure, or data initiatives Experience supporting full project lifecycle delivery, including requirements, planning, execution, testing, and deployment Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Healthcare industry experience (HMO/MSO/IPA/Health Plan) preferred, including knowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements (HIPAA, data security, compliance), and experience working within IT governance or PMO structures Work authorization for United States requiredAMM BENEFITS
