Engaging Team's Highlights:
We've seen several candidates with solid data backgrounds who didn't advance. The gaps were mostly in communication and executive presence, not technical skill. Going forward, please focus on the following.

Communication and presenceCandidates should be polished and concise, and able to report out to executive-level stakeholders.

They should be able to explain how they prioritize competing business requests, not only how they coordinate technical or architecture work.

They should be able to walk through their own projects clearly during screening: scope, decisions, and outcomes.

Technical background
  • Candidates need hands-on technical project management experience.
  • Data experience is strongly preferred. MDM (Master Data Management) experience is a plus.
  • If data-specific candidates are limited, strong technical generalist PMs are now welcome, provided they meet the experience and communication bar above.
Overview

This role requires a highly capable, self-directed individual who can operate effectively across a broad portfolio of data initiatives, including data platforms, governance, reporting and analytics, business process improvement, data quality, integrations, regulatory and operational initiatives, and other emerging priorities.
  • The ideal candidate combines strong project and program management discipline with business analysis skills and sufficient technical and data fluency to work effectively with data engineers, architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
This individual does not need to be a data engineer or deep technical specialist, but must be comfortable learning new subject areas quickly, asking the right questions, connecting business needs to technical execution, and driving work forward in ambiguous environments.
  • The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, comfortable in ambiguity, and trusted to "fly above the noise.
" They can stay focused on priorities and outcomes while remaining close to execution, bringing structure to complex initiatives, resolving issues, and keeping stakeholders aligned from planning through implementation.

Scope includes:
