Job Summary Job Summary Under general supervision of the Assistant Superintendent, the IT Program Manager will be accountable to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the day-to-day functions of the Information Technology Service Department; provide leadership and guidance in the on-going operations of the district information systems, school/classroom technology, instructional interactive media and administrative technology applications; assume a lead role in the analysis, testing, implementation, and support of a wide range of computerized information systems; perform workstation installations and repair (stand alone, LAN, and WAN), install, connect and repair peripherals, install and configure workstation software, perform a variety of tasks in support of the District's student information services, including the District's cabling infrastructure to support telecommunications, data and other network functions, prepare documents and reports, update work order database, and provide user support through the help desk, on site assistance, and training classes.
