This role involves close collaboration with a distributed engineering team (in Mountain View and Tokyo) and requires a strong ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across various organizations. You will be instrumental in launching and iterating on a zero-to-one product with significant impact on Google's AI capabilities and end user experiences. As a Technical Program Manager on the Search Ecosystem team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and scaling this strategically important and innovative new project. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end execution of complex program workstreams, from planning and development through launch and landing. You will manage the program's lifecycle, navigate ambiguity, and exercise independent judgment to ensure we meet ambitious goals. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Lead, manage, and drive the execution of complex, cross-functional work streams, ensuring timely delivery of program milestones and objectives. Partner with engineering, product, partnerships, and research leads to define program strategy, scope, roadmaps, and success metrics. Drive program-level decision-making, unblock technical and operational challenges, and proactively manage risks and dependencies across multiple teams and organizations. Communicate program status, risks, strategies, and impact effectively to a wide range of audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
