Functional Manager to lead SAP development, technical-functional solution design, and delivery across enterprise SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP and

SAP S/4HANA

, combined with the ability to understand business processes, work closely with SAP functional teams, and lead development and production-support teams. This role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, ABAP developers, integration teams, and project leadership to ensure high-quality SAP solutions are delivered on time and aligned with business requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead

SAP ABAP

development and technical-functional solution design. Partner with business stakeholders and SAP functional consultants to understand requirements and define technical solutions. Manage and prioritize SAP development, enhancements, integrations, and production-support activities. Review functional specifications and translate business requirements into technical specifications and development plans. Provide technical leadership for RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows. Lead ABAP development using ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDP, BAPI, RFC, IDoc, OData, and SAP Gateway . Support

implementations, upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives. Review technical designs, code quality, performance, debugging, and development standards. Coordinate with SAP Functional, Basis, Security, Integration, Data, and Infrastructure teams. Manage production incidents, defects, root-cause analysis, and problem resolution. Lead offshore/onshore development teams and coordinate technical resources. Establish ABAP development standards, coding guidelines, code review processes, and quality controls. Participate in solution architecture and SAP integration discussions. Manage technical risks, dependencies, estimates, timelines, and deliverables. Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and deployment activities. Coordinate SAP transports and releases across development, QA, and production environments. Mentor ABAP developers and provide technical guidance. Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with enterprise SAP standards. Required Technical Skills 6+ years of

development experience. Strong experience with SAP ECC and/or

SAP S/4HANA

. Advanced knowledge of

ABAP / ABAP

Objects . Experience with Reports and ALV. Strong knowledge of Enhancements, BAdIs, and User Exits. Experience with BAPIs and RFCs. Strong experience with IDocs and SAP interfaces. Experience with Smart Forms and/or Adobe Forms. Hands-on experience with CDS Views and AMDP. Experience with OData and SAP Gateway. Knowledge of SAP Fiori integration. Strong SAP performance tuning and debugging skills. Understanding of SAP integration architecture. Experience with SAP transports and release management. Strong understanding of enterprise SAP development lifecycle. Functional Knowledge Experience working with one or more SAP functional areas: SAP Finance / FI-CO SAP Sales & Distribution / SD SAP Materials Management / MM SAP Production Planning / PP
