The Change and Document Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining the Change and Document Control programs across Tesla's distribution centers within the supply chain. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, manage documentation systems, and uphold quality compliance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. What You'll Do Monitor and maintain the Change Control Program to ensure that new programs and process changes go through the program Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation related to quality processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance records in the distribution centers Ensure all documentation complies with Tesla's internal standards, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (if applicable), and other relevant regulatory requirements Administer document control systems (e.g., electronic document management systems) to organize, store, and retrieve critical records efficiently Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure version control, document approvals, and change management processes are followed Conduct regular inspections and audits of processes and documents, ensuring compliance with quality standards and approved flows Identify opportunities to streamline documentation workflows and reduce errors or redundancies What You'll Bring Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Program Management, or equivalent experience 2+ years related experience in quality assurance, or project management in a supply chain or manufacturing company Familiarity with
ISO 9001, IATF
16949, or similar quality management standards ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT), Certified Document Controller, or similar certifications are a plus Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, CAPA, 8D problem-solving) Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
