Job Description

DescriptionAmazon Conversational Search is the exciting new LLM-based feature in the Amazon App / Desktop to allow customers to engage with Amazon in natural language conversations. We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to deliver mission critical programs to build the leading edge infrastructure behind this experience as well as build new delightful customer experiences in this space. A day in the life Key responsibilities for the role will include:
  • Running high visibility programs across multiple teams in Amazon Rufus.
  • Managing stakeholders across these teams as well as senior leadership of Search and adjacent orgs.
  • Mentoring and growing other technical leaders to help them scale and lead mission critical initiatives.
  • Using data and key metrics, to drive improvements that enhance our operational effectiveness.
About the team We are a part of Amazon Search focused on building a LLM-based conversational shopping experience called Rufus (search for Amazon Rufus). Our goal is to allow customers to intuitively engage with Amazon in natural language to get the most convenient shopping experience. Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPreferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
