Team Description:

The DXT team is responsible for digital and physical Guest and Crew experience for all technology and digital-led initiatives. As a Lead Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through completion. This position reports to the Manager of Technology Project Management.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Program & Project Leadership Lead high-priority, multi-site strategic programs and cross-functional projects through the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Collaborate with engineering teams (Software Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and leadership) to establish scalable processes that drive success and efficiency across program areas. Guide and support junior technical project managers throughout the project lifecycle. Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with program goals. Agile & Operational Excellence Define, optimize, and manage Agile ceremonies and processes at the team-of-teams level. Maintain accurate project documentation including scope, RAID logs, plans, and budgets. Financial & Resource Management Reconcile actuals, adjust forecasts, and communicate budget updates and billing changes to leadership. Align resource capacity with project plans and collaborate with managers to balance workload and budget. Risk, Issue & Scope Management Anticipate and mitigate risks; manage scope changes and assess impact on timelines and budgets. Communicate risks, issues, and solutions transparently to stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting Lead stakeholder coordination and ensure alignment on goals and timelines. Own communication plans, manage expectations, and deliver weekly updates, dashboards, and executive presentations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

7+ years of technical project/program management experience working with technical teams developing enterprise class solutions General understanding of APIs, services, database technologies, technologist roles and responsibilities, capabilities & platform dependencies, software development lifecycle, engineering and/or product development Influence and negotiation, communication, professional maturity & organizational savvy, relationship building, dependency mapping Hands-on experience with practices such as Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid as well as extensive experience with pragmatic blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery Strong ability to interpret and navigate architectural and technical aspects of complex projects and familiarity with Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD) Highly organized with exceptional time management and attention to detail Proven experience managing large-scale budgets and financial oversight

TECHATDISNEY

The hiring range for this position in Celebration, FL is $148,000 - $195,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered
