at Insight Global in Naperville, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a top industrial technology client supporting a large-scale global infrastructure and connected device deployment initiative. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination across engineering, architecture, development, infrastructure, data, and customer stakeholder teams to deliver connected technology solutions across manufacturing facilities worldwide. The ideal candidate will blend strong project management expertise with enough technical acumen to understand infrastructure, networking, IoT ecosystems, APIs, and data integrations. This person will be responsible for driving deployment roadmaps, managing risks and dependencies, coordinating global implementation activities, and communicating project status to both executive and technical audiences. The program spans dozens of international manufacturing sites and requires someone comfortable navigating multiple time zones, cultural differences, and complex technical deployment environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned technical project manager who thrives in customer-facing environments and enjoys leading highly visible, global transformation initiatives.
Day-to-Day:
Lead project execution for a global deployment initiative across 50-150+ manufacturing facilities worldwide Manage deployment schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities Coordinate efforts across engineering, architecture, development, infrastructure, data, product, and business teams Maintain RAID logs and drive issue resolution Facilitate deployment readiness reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive updates Act as a primary customer-facing representative throughout implementation Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to internal leadership and customer stakeholders Align customer implementation timelines with internal delivery commitments Support deployments involving IoT devices, industrial connectivity, network infrastructure, APIs, and data collection technologies Translate technical discussions into business-level updates for executives Identify opportunities to optimize schedules and accelerate deployment timelines Navigate regional and cultural differences while supporting teams across Europe, North America, Latin America, and other global regions Drive alignment across multiple parallel workstreams and competing priorities We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 7+ years of project management experience leading complex technical deployments Experience managing large-scale global deployments across multiple countries and time zones Strong project management background supporting infrastructure, networking, systems integration, or technology rollouts Experience coordinating engineers, architects, developers, and technical resources without direct authority Customer-facing experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders and executives Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly communication Experience managing enterprise-scale deployments across dozens of sites or locations
Knowledge of:
Network infrastructure deployments Connected devices/IoT ecosystems API integrations Data collection and transmission solutions Technical dependency and risk management Experience maintaining project plans, deployment roadmaps, RAID logs, and executive status reporting Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Comfortable working flexible hours to support global teams PMP , PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent certifications Manufacturing, Industrial IoT, Operational Technology (OT), or smart factory experience Experience supporting multinational customer deployments Regulated industry experience (Medical Device, Telecommunications, etc.) Experience with network migrations, connectivity solutions, or cloud-based integrations Knowledge of industrial communication protocols Prior experience deploying hardware/software solutions that collect and transmit operational data To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
