Job Description This role provides Project/Program Management support focused on the delivery of critical Infrastructure and Cybersecurity initiatives across the enterprise, including: Firewall deployment and lifecycle management Network segmentation initiatives (IT/OT, Zero Trust alignment) Server and storage deployments and modernization Implementation of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives and controls The objective is to ensure disciplined execution, reduced delivery risk, and alignment to business priorities across a complex, multi-project environment. The contractor will work embedded within the Infrastructure & Security program team, reporting to Program Leadership (Sr. Program Manager or equivalent). They are expected to follow internal governance processes and security and compliance standards, and participate in core cadences including weekly delivery reviews and governance and planning sessions. Responsibilities Firewall & Network Security Lead firewall refresh, migration, and policy implementation projects Drive network segmentation initiatives including IT/OT separation, zone-based architecture, and Zero Trust Coordinate firewall cutovers, rule changes, and policy validation Support security architecture alignment and implementation Server & Storage Deployments Manage server lifecycle refresh and modernization projects Oversee storage platform upgrades and migrations Coordinate infrastructure deployments, cutovers, and validations Ensure alignment with application and business dependencies Cybersecurity Program Support Support implementation of cybersecurity initiatives including access control/Zero Trust solutions, WAF and segmentation policy enforcement, security monitoring and observability improvements, and compliance and risk mitigation initiatives Ensure cybersecurity controls are integrated into infrastructure deployments and delivered per standards Project Planning & Execution Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and dependency mapping Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables to agreed objectives Coordinate across network engineering, infrastructure, security/cyber, and operations/support teams Ensure alignment between technical execution and business priorities Risk & Issue Management Maintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks Escalate critical issues with recommended actions Plan and coordinate firewall cutovers and migrations, network segmentation deployments, server/storage transitions, and cybersecurity control activations Ensure pre-implementation testing, rollback strategies, and minimal disruption to business operations Governance & Reporting Provide weekly project status reports, executive summaries, and dashboards Participate in governance forums including the Solution Review Board (SRB) and Steering Committees as required Track milestones, deliverables, risks, mitigation plans, and resource and financial alignment Operational Readiness Coordinate runbook development, monitoring and alerting readiness, and knowledge transfer to operations teams Support HyperCard activities post go-live Deliverables Detailed project plans and schedules RAID logs (updated weekly) Status reports and executive updates Cutover plans and change documentation Risk mitigation and escalation plans Operational readiness artifacts (runbooks, documentation) Post-implementation reviews Performance Expectations On-time milestone delivery High change success rate with minimal business disruption Effective risk identification and mitigation Strong stakeholder alignment and communication quality Adherence to governance and reporting standards Smooth transition to operations with no major post-go-live incidents Qualifications 5-10+ years of Project Management experience in infrastructure (network, server, storage) and cybersecurity initiatives Proven experience with firewall and network implementations in complex, cross-functional IT environments Strong understanding of network segmentation, Zero Trust, and infrastructure lifecycle management Experience with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow (Project / Change / Demand) preferred
