Job Description

Senior Program Manager Mimecast - 3.5 Lexington, MA Job Details Full-time $124,000 - $186,000 a year 12 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Senior Program Manager Product Operations — Lexington, MA, US Mimecast is looking for a Senior Program Manager to drive our new features and products from readiness through market launch. You'll take end-to-end ownership of go-to-market programs for your slice of the portfolio, partnering closely with Engineering to plan and track the delivery work every launch depends on — and orchestrating the cross-functional effort across Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, RevOps, Support, IT, and Legal that turns technical readiness into a successful launch. This is a role with real influence: you'll be technical enough to sit in the room with engineering leaders and understand trade-offs and risk, and you'll build the launch plans and visibility that make leadership confident every time. What You'll Do Own end-to-end program management for feature and product launches — building the plan, sequencing workstreams, and keeping a clear, current view of status. Plan and track the Engineering deliverables each launch depends on, so go-to-market commitments are grounded in real, current progress. Serve as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales Enablement, RevOps, Support, IT, and Legal — making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Engage credibly with engineering teams on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs, flagging technical risk before it threatens a date. Run a consistent cadence with cross-functional leaders to review readiness, resolve issues, and keep every function aligned. Build and continuously refine a repeatable go-to-market launch playbook, using AI tools to cut manual overhead in status synthesis and risk surfacing. What You'll Bring Demonstrable experience in Program Management, Technical Program Management, or Product Launch Management, owning go-to-market execution end-to-end — not just facilitating the process. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. PMP certification preferred. Technical fluency — enough to engage credibly in trade-off, estimation, and risk conversations with engineering teams. Strong cross-functional influence — the ability to drive alignment and accountability across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, RevOps, Support, and IT without relying on organizational authority. Exceptional communication skills — able to translate complex, cross-functional dynamics into clear, actionable insight for technical teams and senior leadership alike. High ownership and a bias to action — you bring problems with proposed solutions, follow through without being asked, and measure yourself by what actually ships. A genuine curiosity about how AI tools can make go-to-market execution faster and sharper, and a drive to try them rather than wait for someone else to. The base salary range for this position is $124,000 - $186,000 base + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for incentive plans and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered. Belonging at Mimecast Cybersecurity is a community effort.
