Job Description
Description Are you excited by the opportunity to drive programs that put robots into the real world, coordinating across software, research, and hardware teams to ship systems that move, plan, and adapt at fleet scale? Are you energized by the challenge of turning leading research into production-ready capabilities? At Amazon Robotics, we're building the future of mobile robotic systems. Our robots don't just follow lines on a floor. They navigate dynamic environments, coordinate with each other, and make decisions in real time. Technical Program Managers here don't sit on the sidelines. You'll be in the middle of it, connecting applied scientists, research scientists, software engineers, and program teams to deliver things that haven't been done before. The problems we solve are hard. Requirements shift as research matures. Timelines compress as business needs grow. There's ambiguity everywhere, and that's the point. We're looking for someone who sees that ambiguity as the job, not as an obstacle to it. Someone who can build structure without slowing teams down, and drive alignment without waiting for permission. Come build what's next in robotics. Key job responsibilities
- Work cross functionally with other TPMs, program teams, SW teams, applied scientists, and research to align on priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines
- Own end to end program execution for complex, multi-team initiatives spanning software, ML/research, and systems integration
- Translate ambiguous research objectives into structured plans with clear milestones, owners, and exit criteria
- Identify risks and dependencies early, escalate with data, and drive resolution
- Build and maintain mechanisms (reviews, dashboards, status cadences) that give leadership visibility without creating drag on teams
- Coordinate across orgs to unblock teams, resolve competing priorities, and negotiate tradeoffs
- Drive multi-quarter roadmap planning in partnership with engineering and science leadership
- Manage a cross functional process to translate customer and business needs into a sequenced product roadmap and releases
- Show ownership and leadership in coordinating projects across multiple teams, driving them to successful conclusion while building strong relationships with internal partners A day in the life Amazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children.
