Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale automation and robotics deployment programs across multiple sites. This individual will be responsible for driving technical program execution from new product introduction through deployment, launch readiness, and ongoing operational support. The ideal candidate will partner with engineering, product, manufacturing, supply chain, and business stakeholders to develop integrated project plans, manage technical deliverables, and ensure successful execution of complex automation initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead multidisciplinary teams through the complete product lifecycle, from concept and development to deployment and support. Develop and maintain integrated engineering schedules, work breakdown structures, critical paths, dependencies, and mitigation plans. Coordinate software, controls, hardware, systems, manufacturing, and operational teams to deliver projects on schedule and within scope. Drive site-by-site deployment planning, launch readiness, and execution across a multi-location implementation program. Manage technical development, integration, testing, and deployment of complex automation, robotics, or electromechanical systems. Facilitate issue resolution, risk mitigation, and cross-functional decision-making throughout the development lifecycle. Establish and improve program management processes, standards, governance, and reporting practices for a scaling organization. Provide executive-level communication on project status, milestones, risks, and deliverables. Partner with customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes. Mentor project teams and promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years leading complex technical programs within automation, robotics, manufacturing, or capital equipment environments 7+ years of program management experience with ownership of large-scale initiatives Expertise in NPI, product development, systems integration, and deployment programs Experience managing cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders Strong project planning, risk management, and communication skills PMP preferred BS in Engineering or related field; MS/MBA a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
