Top Secret Technical Project Lead
The ideal candidate combines technical understanding with strong communication and organizational skills. This role will be responsible for coordinating work across multiple engineering disciplines, managing project execution through Jira and Confluence, tracking schedules and deliverables, and communicating progress, risks, and timelines to both leadership and mission partners. While this position is not expected to serve as the team's primary FPGA engineer, the successful candidate should possess enough familiarity with FPGA and SDR development environments to effectively support technical planning, prioritization, and execution.

This role will be responsible for coordinating work across multiple engineering disciplines, managing project execution through Jira and Confluence, tracking schedules and deliverables, and communicating progress, risks, and timelines to both leadership and mission partners. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface between government stakeholders, mission partners, and engineering teams
- Translate customer requirements and operational priorities into actionable tasks for development teams
- Coordinate, assign, and track work across multiple technical teams
- Manage project execution, requirements, and documentation through Jira and Confluence
- Monitor schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful program execution
- Communicate project status, priorities, risks, and timelines to leadership and customers
- Support engineering efforts focused on FPGA, SDR, embedded systems, and related defense technologies
- Facilitate collaboration between government leadership and technical teams to maintain alignment on objectives and expectations.

- 5+ years of experience supporting military operations, Electronic Warfare (EW), cyber missions, or related technology development efforts
- Familiarity with FPGA-based systems, Software Defined Radio (SDR), or embedded system development environments
- Experience working directly with government customers and mission partners
- Experience leading technical teams, projects, or cross-functional efforts
- Experience translating operational requirements into actionable engineering tasks
- Experience assigning, coordinating, and tracking work across technical teams
- Experience managing project schedules, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Experience utilizing Jira and Confluence for task tracking, requirements management, and project documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Agile project management experience
- Experience supporting R D or prototype development programs
- Experience supporting FPGA, SDR, EW, cyber, tactical communications, or RF-focused programs
- Experience developing user stories, test objectives, or operational requirements
- Experience with military operational planningBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
