We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Engineering Program Manager to lead complex technology initiatives within our organization. This role involves overseeing multiple engineering projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project and program management, particularly within IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and software development environments. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale engineering programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations. Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Project management software; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Coordinate cross-functional teams including software developers, infrastructure engineers, QA testers, and business stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality; implement risk mitigation strategies and escalate issues as necessary. Oversee the development of detailed test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards. Facilitate Agile planning sessions utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies; utilize Jira, VersionOne, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and other tools for tracking progress. Drive enterprise solutions implementation involving databases such as SQL and Oracle; oversee integration with cloud platforms like AWS. Lead release management activities including deployment planning, disaster recovery procedures, and post-release support. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders through regular status updates, reports, and presentations; ensure transparency across all phases. Promote continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes; recommend process enhancements aligned with IT governance standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a technical project or program manager supervising engineering teams within a technology environment. Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, PMBOK standards, and SAFe frameworks. Strong technical proficiency in enterprise software development, cloud computing (AWS), databases (SQL & Oracle), and IT infrastructure. Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint; familiarity with Jira, VersionOne, TFS. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and team leadership. Experience in requirements gathering, analysis skills, risk management strategies, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management. Ability to lead diverse teams through complex projects utilizing Agile planning techniques; strong negotiation skills are essential. Knowledge of IT governance policies including disaster recovery planning and IT infrastructure standards. Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or equivalent are preferred.
