Technical Project Manager

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Technical Project Manager role in Biddeford, ME. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage cross-functional technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business goals. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate with engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to drive project progress and resolve challenges. Monitor project performance, track key milestones, and provide regular status updates to leadership. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for assigned projects. Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and technical requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and efficiency. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scope, requirements, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field required ). Proven experience managing technical projects in a manufacturing, engineering, or technology environment. Strong engineering foundation with the ability to understand and engage in technical discussions with engineering teams. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches). Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
