Job Description:
New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is seeking a Director of Applications & Integration. The Director of Applications and Integration is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, support, optimization, and governance of enterprise applications, clinical systems, and interoperability platforms across the organization. This role oversees informatics and application support services, system integrations, workflow optimization, vendor coordination, and technology initiatives that support operational, financial, and clinical objectives New England Cancer Specialists is one of the region's leading oncology practices dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role offers the opportunity to build and scale the total rewards and HR operations infrastructure that supports a mission-driven healthcare organization and its growing workforce.
Experience and Skills:
Required Experience Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare IT, enterprise applications, interoperability, or related technology leadership roles. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience overseeing application support teams, enterprise systems, or integration services. Experience supporting healthcare application ecosystems, EMR platforms, and interoperability initiatives.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, EMR systems, practice management platforms, healthcare workflows, and interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, APIs, and related technologies. Experience with application lifecycle management, system governance, vendor coordination, and operational support processes. Understanding of healthcare cybersecurity, compliance, and data governance principles.
Preferred Experience:
Relevant healthcare application certifications are preferred.• CHCIO, PMP, ITIL, or interoperability-related certifications preferred. Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Informatics or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
