Are Your Our Next Regional Field Service Manager?

Are you a visionary leader who thrives on solving complex problems and building high-performing teams? Atlas Copco is seeking a Regional Field Service Manager to lead and develop a high-performing service team while driving successful execution of Application Center projects in the field. This role combines team leadership with technical oversight, ensuring teams are trained, equipped, and aligned to support complex customer applications.

You'll lead Field Service and Engineering resources, support Global Key Accounts, and act as a key link between the Application Center, customers, and field operations. This is a high-impact role focused on team development, operational excellence, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
How You'll Make An Impact:
Talent Development:
Lead, coach, and develop Field Service and Engineering teamsBuild capability through training aligned to Application Center projectsDrive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Drive Operational Excellence:
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service performanceOptimize workflows, resource allocation, and scheduling to maximize productivityMaintain high service standards while improving turnaround time and qualityContinuously evaluate and refine operations to support business and customer needs
Budget & KPI Management:
Monitor financial performance, ensuring effective cost control and resource utilizationTrack and report on KPIs including capacity, turnaround time, quality, and profitabilityDevelop forecasts for staffing, workload, and financial performanceUse data-driven insights to drive accountability and continuous improvementCollaborate for
Customer Success:
Act as a trusted ambassador for customers, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experienceCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to align operations with strategic goals.

Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and meet evolving customer expectationsBalance service excellence with cost optimization to deliver world-class field service experiences.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Metro Detroit area and able to travel throughout the United States and Canada as needed.

To succeed, you will needWillingness to adapt to a flexible schedule and travel as needed across the United States and Canada2+ years of supervisory experience with a proven track record of leading teams to achieve resultsStrong financial and operational acumen, including budget management and labor optimizationExperience driving KPI performance and implementing process improvementsBackground in production environments, ideally with manufacturing automation or assembly toolingProven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience and deliver clear valueStrong communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levelsFamiliarity with fastening tools and torque theory preferred In return, we offerAt Atlas Copco, we know that work is more than just a job.
