SAP ERP Project ManagerLocation:

Charlotte, North Carolina - Greensboro, NC - Raleigh, NC (Remote at first then on-site) Role OverviewWe are seeking a Project Manager to support a large, cross-functional SAP ERP modernization initiative. This role will focus on ERP data conversion, deployment and cutover planning and execution, project governance, risk management, budget tracking, executive reporting, and coordination across business, operations, technology, and vendor teams. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate with business managers, cross-functional subject matter experts, and project team members to drive project activities and resolve issues.



Provide direction to business, operations, and technology leads to support program needs.



Ensure project activities are on a path to deliver benefits realization.



Install and manage an appropriate risk management plan for the project.



Follow established project methodology, risk management routines, and governance activities.



Engage stakeholders to mitigate cross-team concerns and lead discussions for resolution.



Lead internal and external resource teams on a project basis.



Manage project budget forecasts and actuals.



Create, maintain, and analyze project schedules, managing variances and creating action plans.



Prepare dashboard reporting to communicate project health to executives.



Prepare documentation and presentations to support workstream efforts and internal reporting.



Assist in identifying project-introduced changes and coordinate with teams for readiness plans.



Required QualificationsExperience in project or program management for transformative initiatives within a major financial institution.



Prior SAP ERP project experience, preferably with recent experience in SAP S/4HANA.Previous ERP project experience related to data conversion, deployment cutover planning, and execution.



Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and initiatives, including multiple business partners and large data sets.



Proven stakeholder relationship-building skills to drive cross-team collaboration.



Experience driving large-scale, technology-focused programs or projects with large internal and vendor resource teams.



Ability to create and manage multiple project or workstream schedules in parallel.



A proactive project management approach with the ability to solve problems with limited context.



Preferred QualificationsA bachelor's degree.



Background in Accounting and Finance, with experience ensuring GAAP compliance, regulatory reporting, and profitability.



Prior experience with system and user acceptance test planning, including end-to-end testing.



Experience with operational controls related to Finance and Accounting activities or SOX controls.



Experience with data strategy development and execution.



Prior experience with the Rally tool.



PMP certification.



Ability to translate discussions with stakeholders into effective strategic plans and project objectives.
