Purpose This role serves as the IT business partner that manages support for technology with the Operations teams. This role is accountable for developing and managing technology roadmaps, demand prioritization, system enhancement delivery, and application stewardship. This role also integrates with centralized incident management processes to keep business stakeholders informed and engage subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed to resolve issues quickly and effectively. This role oversees the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for SAP and other solutions, from planning and design through deployment and ongoing optimization. This role manages both an internal team and an outsourced vendor partner, ensuring alignment, accountability, and performance across all delivery streams. Acting as both a strategic leader and operational driver, this position is responsible for building strong partnerships with business stakeholders, ensuring high-quality delivery, and fostering continuous improvement of the SAP and application platforms to meet evolving business and customer needs.

Translate business priorities into actionable technology initiatives within their assigned technology domain and roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards
Intake, assess, and prioritize minor enhancements and changes to existing operational applications within their assigned domain
Manage delivery of technology projects that impact business teams
Strategize the prioritization and delivery of work based on roadmap and business priorities
Develop capacity plan and lead team to deliver capital technology projects
Drive strategic enhancements of tools, ensuring improvements are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
Lead teams of developers to deliver application changes that are tested and quality-assured by the business
Manage application enhancements, ensuring adherence to regulatory, security, and performance standards
Direct team to manage user acceptance testing with the business and perform testing as required for QA support
Own end-to-end delivery of SAP eco system applications (e.g., S4 EAM, FICO, SRM, GIS, OMS, SAP BTP/Fiori apps), ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and high-quality outcomes.
Oversee the full SDLC (requirements, design, build, test, deploy, support), embedding agile and DevOps best practices.
Run backlog and requirements processes; define non-functional requirements (availability, performance, security, usability); coordinate UAT and readiness with business owners.
Establish and monitor delivery performance metrics, quality standards, and KPIs tied to business impact.
Prepare options, estimates, and benefit cases; facilitate prioritization through governance; align approved work to quarterly plans.
Manage SAP total cost of the tool (TCO) levers with Procurement/Vendor Management (licenses, AMS run/enhance mix) and recommend optimizations.
Education and Experience University - Bachelor degree or equivalent
Strong knowledge of operational processes in utilities or similar industries.
Familiarity with ITIL service management practices.
Experience leading vendor teams and outsourced development/support services.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage concurrent initiatives in a regulated environment.
Compensation Data Full base salary range $130,000.00- $180,000.00 per year•Liberty considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, training and skills, and geographic location.
