IT Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage multiple concurrent technology implementation projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive successful project delivery across cross-functional teams.
This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate resources, manage project governance, negotiate priorities with stakeholders, and ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple IT implementation projects simultaneously (typically 5-8 active projects at any given time).
Drive project execution from initiation through closure, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, budget, and scope.
Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution processes.
Coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, and cross-company teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and project documentation.
Facilitate project meetings, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Collaborate and negotiate with internal stakeholders to align priorities, secure resources, and meet critical project deadlines.
Track project performance metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to organizational project management standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or Technical Project Manager managing multiple concurrent projects.
Strong project governance, planning, execution, and delivery management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage 5-8 implementation projects simultaneously.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Strong negotiation and collaboration abilities with business and technical teams.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex technology environments.
Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications.
Experience managing enterprise-level IT implementations and technology transformation initiatives.
