Description:

Position Summary We are seeking a Strategic Project Manager to oversee and drive large-scale enterprise technology initiatives within a retail environment. This individual will serve as a key leader within the PMO, managing complex technical projects, enterprise integrations, and organizational transformation efforts. The ideal candidate possesses strong PMO expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record delivering strategic business and technology programs across large organizations. Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise-wide technology and business transformation initiatives from planning through execution. Manage complex merger, acquisition, integration, and organizational change projects. Establish and maintain PMO governance, project controls, reporting frameworks, and delivery methodologies. Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies. Partner with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful delivery. Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership. Oversee cross-functional teams across business and IT organizations to drive project objectives. Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues impacting delivery. Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies through project execution and PMO best practices. Ensure successful implementation of enterprise applications, integrations, and technology modernization efforts. Required Qualifications 10+ years of Project Management, Program Management, or PMO leadership experience. Strong experience leading technical projects within large enterprise organizations. Proven success managing enterprise integrations, mergers, acquisitions, or business transformation initiatives. Deep understanding of PMO governance, portfolio management, project lifecycle management, and delivery methodologies. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities. Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities. Experience working within the retail industry or other large customer-facing environments. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Preferred Skills & Technologies SAP Workday Microsoft Office 365 Suite Smartsheet Microsoft Project Jira and/or Azure DevOps Enterprise reporting and portfolio management tools Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Edison, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
