Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Delivery Manager specializing in US Health Insurance to lead complex projects from inception through successful delivery. This role requires a proactive leader with a deep understanding of healthcare insurance operations, enterprise software solutions, and modern project management methodologies. You will oversee cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects align with organizational goals, compliance standards, and technical requirements. Your energetic approach will drive project momentum, foster collaboration, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance our healthcare offerings. Duties Lead end-to-end project delivery for US health insurance initiatives, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and SharePoint; manage project schedules using Microsoft Excel and Project scheduling techniques. Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to integrate cloud computing solutions (AWS), enterprise software applications, and databases like SQL and Oracle into project deliverables. Apply Agile methodologies including SAFe and Kanban frameworks to facilitate iterative development cycles; utilize Jira, VersionOne, TFS, and other project management software for tracking progress. Conduct requirements gathering sessions; create detailed test cases; oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions meet business needs. Manage SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes and ensure compliance with IT governance standards such as PMBOK and organizational policies. Facilitate communication among stakeholders through effective negotiation, presentation skills, and clear documentation to ensure alignment across all project phases. Oversee release management activities including deployment planning, disaster recovery procedures, and post-implementation support. Lead program management efforts for multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization through tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Office suite. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project performance metrics; implement best practices in project management methodology and IT governance. Requirements Proven experience managing large-scale health insurance projects within the US market using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies such as SAFe. Strong knowledge of enterprise software systems related to healthcare insurance operations; familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS is essential. Expertise in project management tools including Jira, VersionOne, TFS, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office applications. Solid understanding of SDLC processes, IT infrastructure components (SQL databases, Oracle), and requirements gathering techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams; excellent leadership skills combined with strong analysis skills and organizational capabilities. Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement; adept at negotiation and conflict resolution. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through time management skills; experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) and test-driven development preferred. Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as PMBOK; experience with disaster recovery planning is a plus. Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum Master or SAFe certifications are highly desirable.
