Job Description

Summary The IT Project Manager ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations. This role serves as the single point of accountability for the successful delivery of assigned projects. Duties and Responsibilities Establishes comprehensive project plans detailing team activities, deliverables, and timelines. Drives project plans to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, timeline, and customer expectations. Identifies internal and external risk areas within the project plan; performs continuous risk management and creates contingency plans. Identifies technical, physical, and human resources required for project execution. Interfaces with technology teams to ensure project execution adheres to established quality processes and methodologies. Works closely with Product Management to ensure project requirements are clearly and completely defined. Interfaces with QA teams as needed to ensure quality assurance activities are completed on schedule. Provides direction, leadership, and clear expectations for the project team. Delivers ongoing feedback to team members and provides performance feedback upon project completion. Monitors project progress closely to mitigate risks related to technical failures, team errors, or schedule delays. Keeps executive leadership, management teams, and key business stakeholders informed of project status, successes, and potential risks. Effectively manages 3 to 5 simultaneous projects. Partners with management and technical teams to build and sustain the IT project roadmap. Collaborates cross-functionally across the organization as needed to drive project completion. Collaborates across the technology division to complete technical project artifacts and maintain compliance with technology standards. Job Qualifications Bachelors Degree and
PMP REQUIRED
Proven ability to communicate effectively across both business and technical audiences. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, results-driven environment. Strong leadership skills to assemble, guide, and motivate project teams toward bottom-line results. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred. Experience leading project teams of 5 to 10 staff members. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Project.
