full-time Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager for a hybrid contract role in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The ideal candidate will have strong agile experience and a proven ability to work directly with software development teams.
Required Skills:
Experience leading and managing complex IT projects from initiation through delivery and closeout. Partner directly with software developers, business stakeholders, product teams, and internal leadership. Manage projects using both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, selecting the appropriate approach based on project needs. Translate business needs into clear project requirements, deliverables, timelines, and milestones. Manage rapidly changing priorities while maintaining project momentum and stakeholder alignment. Coordinate project resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables. Build and maintain project schedules and Gantt charts using Microsoft Planner or MS Project. Ability to work closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Communication skills to provide clear communication and status reporting to stakeholders and leadership. AI experience - preferably Copilot Preferred Qualifications PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
