Shift The expectation is primarily day shift Monday through Friday, however as an exempt-level position, additional hours will be required as needed to perform job duties. This position is hybrid with on-site requirements. Job Summary This Applications Manager is dedicated to the administrative and revenue cycle areas with the following duties included: system/application management, electronic data exchange, project and resource management, and business relationship management. This position will support the systems used in the core operational functions of UKHC including, but not limited to, scheduling, timekeeping, and coding. The Applications Manager is a flexible role that will have the ability to adjust to the rapidly changing application portfolio for operational areas/functions.
Common responsibilities include:
planning, organizing, directing, and performing the implementation and ongoing support of applications; facilitating the development of effective test scenarios/scripts; coordinating IT and vendor resources; promoting ongoing standardization of processes, application configuration, and data; ensuring technical competence of team members providing training when needed.

/ Abilities The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare managing enterprise applications for multiple operational areas; operate effectively in a matrixed organization; demonstrate effective project management and resource management skills; be capable of managing and troubleshooting integrated applications; and possess strong customer service skills. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience Bachelor's degree and 7+ of dedicated experience in healthcare IT preferred.
