Job Title:
BIM / VDC
Digital Delivery Lead Job Description As a Digital Delivery Lead / BIM Manager, you will play a pivotal role in directing our team of Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists. You will manage the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level, ensuring the smooth execution of digital deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Your advanced understanding of interdisciplinary interactions and construction document production will be crucial as you collaborate closely with Project Managers. Responsibilities Provide direction for Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, managing the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level. Collaborate with Project Managers to assist in generating and maintaining the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedure. Establish server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables as outlined in the project scope. Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects. Provide technical support and communicate deliverable schedules to the project team. Monitor model health and coordination processes from planning through the issuance of construction documents. Mentor and guide other team members while overseeing the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP). Establish and maintain the document management system and server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects. Ensure the team has the necessary software, versions, access, and training to meet project requirements. Generate and maintain model setup, including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, and more. Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the Digital Design team to ensure quality control. Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables at predetermined milestones. Handle project archiving at submittals and closeout. Engage in effective communication and presentations with management, production staff, and clients. Provide guidance to Project Managers and support project needs. Engage with other Digital Delivery Leads to offer support and guidance. Essential Skills Building Information Modeling (BIM) 3D Design Architecture Revit Navisworks Advanced understanding of interdisciplinary relations and building systems Advanced skillset in 3D design software and document management infrastructure Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools Familiarity with industry standards, practices, discipline codes, and specifications Familiarity with basic automation and programming applications Excellent client service, communication, and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience Minimum of 5 years in digital design (BIM element authoring) Minimum of 5 years in digital delivery (model management) Familiarity with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications Familiarity with content creation and management concepts Energetic, enthusiastic, and excellent work ethic Work Environment The work environment offers a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, providing flexibility as needed. This role is subject to a governmental background check, and due to client contract requirements, only candidates with US citizenship will be considered. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
