Your impact The Digital Delivery Lead is part of the Jacobs BIA and is assigned to design projects operating under the direction of the Design Manager or Engineering Manager (DM/EM) for the duration of the assignment. DDLs may be assigned to more than one project simultaneously depending upon schedule, project requirements and project size and may consult on multiple projects across the region. Responsibilities Assist with software selection to meet client requirements or company standards as appropriate for the project. Establish Digital Delivery Plan and CAD standards for the project; document and publish modeling and CAD instructions. Provide project setup coordination for CAE/CAD related applications and content management needs in a Bentley ProjectWise and Digital iTwin or Autodesk BIM 360 environment. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving questions or issues relative to the project Digital Delivery Plan, BIM development and work coordination. Integrate sub-consultant and co-consultant contributions and provide clear instructions to project teams regarding BIM development, automation concepts, content management, data integration and related concepts. Attend project coordination meetings, address cross-discipline and inter-company communications relative to digital delivery and BIM development. Lead project teams to resolve actual and potential conflicts within the BIM. Champion quality ensuring conformance with project standards, discipline design technologies and processes. Provide Quality Check on Digital Delivery Setup for colleagues when requested. Champion the use of new design software and technology as appropriate on projects. Work with the field team during construction to provide appropriate infromation to meet workflow and schedule requirements. Adhere to automation budget requirements and schedule and delegates accordingly. Provide leadership for the continued improvement in our firm's responsiveness and flexibility to our clients, sub consultants and co-consultants. Actively share and discuss industry advancements and trends with colleagues. Mentor project team by assisting with finding answers to technical questions and concerns. Develop Project specific Automation Plans with timelines in order to implement strategy; involves others in the process, incorporating best ideas into the plan and gaining buy-in through effective communication and leadership. Manage a team of CAD Designers who are responsible for initiation and consistency of discipline BIM models, construction drawings, and adhere to client specific standards and requests. quality review strategies. Maintain documentation of all developed and enhanced workflows. Perform regular scheduled coordination calls and periodic presentations regarding

related items and workflows. Coordinate with Global Technology Leads & IT to solve local and project level problems related to

deliverables and project technology needs. Maintain and support workflows for internal and external design content management solutions including ProjectWise and ACC. Skills Strong organizational skills. Strong leadership ability; influences and motivates teams to take on new challenges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Has significant experience writing technical content for use within an organization for training, influencing teams, clients or for troubleshooting. Ability to understand appropriate project communication at the management level and the client level. Can conduct meeting topics as assigned with professionalism and decorum while effectively getting the topic across. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Understands the goals of the organization and the project and will self-manage to deadlines keeping supervisor and/or design or project managers apprised of progress. High degree of ethics and integrity. Highly proficient with computer tools in general and specifically understands the
CAD/AEC/BIM
environment with the potential for and support of data integration across all disciplines in a project environment. Includes understanding of data use in cost estimating, construction schedule sequencing and procurement systems. Self-motivated and results focused, with the ability to work with minimal, remote supervision. Strong written and oral communication, to facilitate working with teams located all over North America and Europe. A problem solving, conceptual thinker and able to work with complex systems. Here's what you'll need Extensive experience (10 + years) with digital delivery concepts, data exchange, BIM technology, work sharing coordination and organization of multi-discipline design content in support of large facility based engineering design efforts. Extesive experience with Bentley ProjectWise and/or Acc for engineering content management. 10+ yrs experience with corporate and project implementation of
CAD & BIM
applications with the Bentley and Autodesk product lines. Optional Qualifications Knowledge of geospatial data management, data analysis and data visualization a plus. Experience with the implementation of client specific CAD & Civil BIM standards on projects. Experience with Virtual Design, Navisworks, Navigator and other clash detection software solutions. Experience with front end digital coordination efforts, ensuring all discipline design and production teams are enabled and in compliance with project
CAD & BIM
requirements. Experience with the definition, documentation and implementation of
CAD & BIM
standards and execution plans. Experience managing and maintaining department CAD support and training services. Experience with a multi-format

Posted Salary Range:

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
