Job Description

Technology Project Manager (Low Voltage / ICT Design) ๐Ÿ“ Inland Empire, CA (Hybrid) $90K - $120K + Bonus + Full Benefits Why this role stands out If you're a hands-on ICT / low voltage designer who wants to step further into project ownership โ€” without losing the technical side โ€” this role hits the sweet spot. You'll own projects end-to-end Still work in Revit/CAD regularly And mentor junior designers while growing your leadership impact What you'll be doing You'll lead the design and delivery of low voltage / technology systems across commercial, municipal, and education projects.
Your day-to-day:
Design and coordinate: Structured cabling / telecom systems Security (access control, CCTV) AV and network systems
Produce:
Revit / AutoCAD drawings Construction documents Division 27/28 specifications Manage projects from: Schematic Design โ†’ Construction Documents โ†’ Construction Administration Collaborate with: Clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams
Handle:
RFIs and submittals Site visits and field coordination
Lead:
Small design teams (typically 1-2 designers) ๐Ÿ‘‰ You'll be both technical contributor and project lead โ€” not one or the other.
What you bring Must-have experience:
5+ years in ICT / low voltage / telecom system design Strong experience in: Revit and/or AutoCAD Hands-on design experience with: Structured cabling Security systems AV or network systems Experience producing: Construction documents Specifications (Div 27/28 a big plus) Ability to: Manage multiple projects Work cross-functionally with design teams and clients Nice-to-have (highly valued): RCDD certification BICSI, CTS, or similar credentials Experience with WiFi, DAS, or cellular systems EIT or PE (not required) Bluebeam experience Work environment Hybrid schedule: ~2-3 days in office ~2-3 days remote Based in San Bernardino / Inland Empire Small, collaborative teams High visibility across projects Growth & culture This firm is known for: Strong mentorship & development A people-first, low-ego culture Real ownership early in your career Exposure to diverse projects: K-12 Municipal Healthcare Commercial You won't get siloed โ€” you'll build real project experience fast .
