This position reports to:
IS Manager __ In this role, you will own a complete business outcome — a Value Stream — end-to-end on our SAP ECC core, rather than a single function. Each day, you will design, build, and run improvements that prepare the ECC landscape for its move to S/4HANA while delivering measurable value to the business today — with no hand-off to a separate support team. As the founding member of a small, senior tiger team, you will recruit and lead the three specialists who join you. The work model for the role is: Hybrid; you will be working in the EST time zone. An ideal location is Cary, NC, or NAM, anywhere with frequent travel to the Cary, NC headquarters. This role contributes to the Electrification Business Area in North America. Main stakeholders are Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, and Information Systems and Leadership. You will be mainly accountable for: Owning a Value Stream end-to-end — designing, building, and running it — and delivering a measurable business outcome, not a task list; complying only with the genuinely non-negotiable (statutory, financial, and platform constraints). Preparing the SAP ECC core for S/4HANA — sequencing and de-risking the transition through working software, while shipping high-impact improvements to the current landscape now. Once S4 goes live, you stay and own support and continuous improvements to a value stream in S4. Operating hands-on across SAP Supply Chain & Logistics (MM, IM, PP, LE/WM), close to manufacturing and the shop floor, and bridging functional configuration with code. Recruiting and leading a small, senior squad (Finance, Sales / Order-to-Cash, and Developer), setting the standard for extreme ownership and AI-native ways of working.
Qualifications for the role:
A degree in engineering or a related technical field is highly preferred. You have substantial hands-on experience (8+ years) in SAP Supply Chain & Logistics — MM, IM, PP, and LE/WM — with genuine make- and engineer-to-order depth and comfort on the shop floor and with MES. You are highly skilled in SAP S/4HANA, with practical implementation experience across ECC and S/4 (Private and Public Cloud ideal), and you bridge functional configuration with code. You have a demonstrated track record of extreme ownership — owning a measurable outcome end to end, build and run, rather than a task list. You are passionate about learning and intellectually honest — comfortable with ambiguity, quick to say "I don't know" or "I was wrong," and curious enough to outpace your own defensiveness. You are innovative around AI-native ways of working, deploying AI and modern coding tools where they create real, measurable impact rather than novelty. You are at ease communicating in English, moving between an executive or financial audience and the shop floor in the same conversation. A degree in engineering or a related technical field is highly preferred. You hold a valid work authorization for the United States / North America. What's in it for you? This is a role for an owner, not a ticket-taker. You will own a complete outcome and hire your own team, using modern, AI-native ways of working to build and run it — not patch it and hand it off. The way you prepare this core for S/4HANA will set the template for the rest of the organization to follow: a genuinely hard, end-to-end problem where your work shapes the whole program.
