SCADA Technical Project Manager Serafin Agentic, LLC Juno Beach, FL Job Details Contract $75 - $85 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Controller area network (CAN) bus Renewable energy systems expertise (engineering specialty) Project engineering Protective relaying Utility electrical systems Power plant experience Fiber optic network HMI Software Electrical protection systems Photovoltaic systems Networking equipment (troubleshooting support) Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) Power generation systems IP networking Technical troubleshooting support Commissioning phase involvement PLC networking Electrical Engineering Field commissioning Energy storage systems Managing large-scale electrical projects Electrical systems commissioning Full Job Description Position Summary The SCADA Technical Project Manager serves as the Owner's Representative responsible for leading the engineering, software development, integration, commissioning, and lifecycle management of SCADA, PLC, HMI, and plant control systems for utility-scale renewable energy projects including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), photovoltaic (PV), and hybrid power plants. This role combines technical leadership with project management to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with engineering, cybersecurity, and utility requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of SCADA, PLC, RTU, HMI, networking, and plant control system projects. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, contractors, EPCs, OEMs, consultants, and third-party vendors. Develop, review, and optimize PLC programs using Schneider M340/M580 and similar platforms. Oversee SCADA integration using Ignition, OPC, historians, RTACs, and industrial communication networks. Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, PPA, LGIA, and performance testing. Review electrical, communication, networking, and control system drawings and specifications. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and provide technical leadership for SCADA architecture and control strategies. Establish coding standards, documentation, configuration management, cybersecurity practices, and version control. Provide technical troubleshooting for PLCs, RTUs, protection relays, inverters, meters, networking equipment, managed switches, and fiber optic systems. Report project status, risks, milestones, and corrective actions to management. Technical Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or related discipline. 8+ years managing and commissioning renewable SCADA and control systems. Expert knowledge of Ignition
