Job Description
Senior IT Project Manager - Healthcare PMO A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join its Project Management Office (PMO) in a contract-to-hire capacity. This role is responsible for leading enterprise-wide, high-impact IT initiatives supporting critical healthcare operations. Responsibilities Lead multiple large, complex IT projects from initiation through delivery Own scope, schedule, budget, risks, and change control Partner with executive sponsors, clinical leaders, and technical teams Manage vendors and third-party partners Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance, and documentation Develop project reporting, ROI analysis, and executive communications Mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5-9+ years of IT project management experience Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred Experience managing enterprise-scale initiatives PMP certification required (or within 6 months of hire) Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Willingness to relocate to New Mexico upon conversion Why This Role Long-term opportunity with a respected healthcare organization High visibility and enterprise impact Path to full-time employment Opportunity to influence PMO standards and delivery excellence
