Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to independently lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of IT projects involving LabVantage and TrackWise systems. The ideal candidate will have experience managing system upgrade initiatives, coordinating with technical and business stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, and schedule. This role requires strong project management, stakeholder communication, documentation, and presentation skills, along with the ability to manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. This is a remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Independently lead detailed project planning and management from project inception through completion.
  • Manage projects involving LabVantage and TrackWise systems, including system upgrade initiatives and related technology changes.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Manage project scope, budget, resources, timelines, and overall delivery to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, system owners, vendors, and other project participants.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver project presentations and stakeholder updates.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute project documentation, including project charters, project plans, risk registers, issue logs, status reports, and presentations.
  • Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate project meetings, planning sessions, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Monitor project progress against approved timelines, scope, and budget and take corrective action when required.
  • Support coordination and planning of LabVantage and TrackWise system upgrades and associated project activities.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and meet established quality and business requirements.
  • Maintain clear and accurate project records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive issue resolution and escalate critical project risks or blockers appropriately.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and successful delivery. Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in IT project management or a related technology delivery role.
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading IT projects from initiation through completion.
  • Experience managing project scope, budget, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Experience working with LabVantage and/or TrackWise systems.
  • Understanding of system upgrade planning and implementation activities for LabVantage and TrackWise environments.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience creating and maintaining project documentation, including project charters, project plans, risk registers, issue lists, status reports, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing IT projects within laboratory, life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated environments.
  • Experience leading enterprise application upgrades or implementation projects.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • PMP, PMI, or equivalent project management certification.
