SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
to join our
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
team! The Senior Information Technology (IT) Project Manager directs discovery, execution, progress reporting, and post-completion audit reporting as applicable for medium- to large-scale projects ranging from application/technology upgrades to multi-entity, multi-year application/technology selection and implementation initiatives. This position assists the IS Manager in establishing direction for the Project Management Office (PMO) by creating and maintaining practice guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. The Project Manager is responsible for mentoring new employees within the PMO team.
HOURS:
Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Remote, certain states. This position is eligible for remote work; however, candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered for employment: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. Experience/Qualifications Knowledge and ability to effectively utilize project portfolio management tools and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project) normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in CIS/CS, Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Management preferred; or equivalent education and experience. Seven to ten years of relevant IS project management experience. Project Management Professional (PMP). Specialized knowledge of the best practices for project management and familiarity with related technologies. Experience with infrastructure projects - Networks, Data Center. Demonstrated leadership skills and sensitivity to organizational politics. Must have the ability to communicate complex technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
