Contract (Long Term) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead a technical support team focused on enabling business users through Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps and Power Automate. This role will oversee support operations, governance, user adoption, and training initiatives while partnering closely with business and IT leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with hands-on experience supporting low-code/no-code business enablement platforms. Work Location Hybrid role requiring onsite work 3 days per week Local candidates preferred Key Responsibilities Manage intake, prioritization, and resource allocation for program requests and initiatives. Provide hands-on support by building or troubleshooting simple Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows when needed. Support training, workshops, and adoption efforts that empower business users to build apps and flows. Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations through presentations to leadership teams. Establish and maintain governance, best practices, and lifecycle processes for low-complexity solutions. Oversee technical delivery and review solution approaches to ensure security, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards. Develop and maintain clear documentation and guidance for business users and internal stakeholders. Coordinate with IT, security, and business partners to align solutions with organizational goals and policies. Identify risks and issues and implement mitigation plans to maintain delivery stability. Lead and mentor team members in a collaborative environment. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in technical program management, product ownership, or enterprise application delivery. Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform. Ability to build or troubleshoot simple Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members while managing both strategy and operations. Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and allocate work effectively based on capacity and organizational priorities. Strong understanding of governance, IT processes, and application lifecycle management. Experience collaborating with IT, security, and business stakeholders. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, or Dataverse. Microsoft Power Platform and/or Azure certifications. Experience implementing or supporting governance for low-code/no-code platforms. Background in user training, adoption, or change management. Experience in public-sector environments. Experience leading and managing teams.
